Well, DS did well getting to that many posts on CTTM before moving away from VB3. Just shows how TSR is so weak.

I know right! TSR need to sort out their stuff and upgrade the server to fix the issue, rather than implement an auto close at 10k.

I wonder what software DS will use, and whether that will also allow long threads?

vB3 is short for vBulletin 3.x, which is the software that Digital Spy run their forums on.

As you may have noticed, Digital Spy are migrating their forums to a completely new platform (so not vBulletin) - which is why the forums have gone read only for a few days (whilst the data migration takes place).

They will continue to count to two million once the transfer has taken place, though don't expect PT's account to last long on there due to Mwarpie ousting it out on the last page of CTTM. (I quoted their post in the BSW section of our site, hence they are no longer a member here.)
