Black Friday 2015
Posted: November 26th, 2015, 10:31 pm
Since Black Friday is tomorrow, November 27, I thought I'd start off a topic about it.
From the looks of things, many different retailers are reducing prices of items quite dramatically - for what I presume is to increase sales and start Christmas Shopping etc.
It's more of a US tradition than a UK one but there are still some great deals to be had.
I'm thinking about upgrading my 4 year old Acer Aspire 5742 to a HP from Currys, which is on offer on Black Friday: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/ ... 1-pdt.html
After all, that is a very good price for an i7 laptop, and it's got to be better than having overheating problems, right? I've probably mentioned it already on this site but even just replying to the thread, due to the smilies on the RHS of the editing page, the temperatures are already above 90'C on this Aspire 5742...Trying to watch a programme on 4OD is also cooking the machine...
Are you going to be doing anything tomorrow (Black Friday)? Discuss....
